Quizmaster Trivia hosted its debut pub quiz at The Pearson Room this past Monday, as Canary Wharf's finest gathered to see what our trivia night was all about...
The sophisticated 1950's style restaurant and bar located on the second floor of 16 - 19 Canada Square were offering up three prizes for our quiz contestants...
Fancy schmancy gift cards eh?! Only the finest at Canary Wharf!
And as it's Halloween this Friday, we had a special spooky themed quiz for our contestants to delve into!
With seven teams vying for prizes on our inaugural quiz night, we had a competitive opening evening at The Pearson Room and even ended proceedings with a sudden death as two teams locked horns for first place! So we posed the following final question:
Including extras, how many people died in the seven Saw films released? (The correct answer is 80)
Both teams quickly wrote the answers down and ran across the room to hand in their answers! With the closest answer of 67 coming from Roses are Red, Violets are glorious. Don't pull a Bolt on Oscar Pistorius! Bravo people... they won a £30 voucher!
This left Brainy Buccaneers as runners up, as their sudden death answer of 37 gifted them a £20 voucher!
And we met the quiz duo that is Ignorant Italian Ladies!
Our final prize to give away on the night was our best team name accolade, which was given to Universally challenged, who ironically finished in last place. The duo won a £10 voucher!
